I love the idea of “taking stock” – it’s 10 minutes of my time where I reflect on the month that was and capture the things that made the month! I stole the idea off Sam at The Annoyed Thyroid – and I hope it’s something I can keep up!
Baking: Olive sourdough and pretty sourdough loaves
Snacking: on corn chips, obssessssed!
Cooking: lots of slow cooked lamb dishes
Drinking: huge mugs of early grey tea
Eating: A traditional Italian easter cake (Colomba) that my mum brought from Italy
Bookmarking: lots of articles on how to manage stress and anxiety
Filling: the house with succulent offcuts a family friend gave me!
Making: memories with Tomas and the fam
Sharing: the sourdough love
Feeling: pretty tired – it’s been a busy month!
Wishing: I had more time to spend with friends
Buying: presents – for mothers day and tom’s birthday!
Wondering: around Lake Burley Griffin in Canberra
Booking: our holiday to Port Douglas in August!
Taking: ten deep breaths before opening my mouth when I’m angry
Discovering: a new Sydney suburb – Clontarf. It has a beautiful reserve with a cute small beach. Lots of very beautiful houses around!
Staying: indoors a lot in Canberra – it’s sooo cold!
Enjoying: driving the new Alfa Romeo, Giulia – it has my same name!
Running: still no running!
Realising: it’s not worth sweating the small things.
Loving: the weather in Sydney – 25 degrees in Autumn?
Losing: patience with trying to buy tickets to the Ed Sheehan concert – it’s ridiculous.
Wearing: puffer jackets because it’s freeeezing!
Hoping: I won’t be having 7 years of bad luck (I broke a mirror – SHOCK!)
Finding: ways to spend less money
Marvelling: at the views from some Sydney houses! This is the view from the house we stayed in in Clontarf.
Wanting: an oil diffuser (it’s on my birthday wish list!)
Missing: mum already and she only left a day ago!
Needing: lots of luck for my uni exams!
Thinking: about how cool it is that I made a smoothie by cycling a bike!
Following: a few friends’ travels on instagram – love wanderlusting
Enjoying: pizza nights with the family
Trying: to reduce my intake of sugar
Opening: our new fridge – we still have the plastic wrapped around it
Seeing: Vivid Sydney, a beautiful light festival
Listening: to relaxing music
Liking: my new salt rock lamp – it has such a calming effect.
Disliking: having to study for exams whilst mum is here!
Getting: to take selfies with my tom only thanks to instagram filters!
Admiring: the simplicity and beauty of nature
Reading: I’ve finished two of S.J Watson’s books and I loved them!
Watching: Designated survivor and the new episodes of Prison Break!
Celebrating: Tom’s third birthday!
Looking forward to: relaxing over the long weekend in June after my exams have finished!
