Enjoying: printing polaroid photos with my new Polaroid gadget. It’s lovely to give them as little keepsakes to friends as well!
Baking: bread in my sister’s oven and the result is so much better than my oven! Need to work out what the difference is, because the crust is on a whole other level!
Swapping: books with our neighbours. Someone decided to set up a ‘book exchange’ in our foyer and I’ve already picked up some gems.
Making: friends with apples again. There is something about their crunchiness that I have a hot and cold relationship with.
Drinking: peppermint tea in the evenings.
Eating: pearl couscous in everything. Thank god for Costco bulk buys.
Needing: some new swimmers!
Snacking: on citrus: oranges and mandarins!
Removing: clothes that don’t fit / I don’t like anymore.
Losing: all inspiration to go to the gym. Uni just takes over my life completely.
Cooking: lamb shanks. Deeelicious.
Admiring: people that work 6/7 days a week, when do they get down time?
Marvelling: at how the temperature in Canberra can reach 17 degrees during the day and drop to minus 4 over night!
Feeling: overwhelmed by university already and its only the start of the semester!
Discovering: the Shoalhaven region. Mollymook and Milton are such gorgeous places.
Finding: strawberries so cheap at the moment!

Attending: My favourite foodie event in Canberra: The Forage. So many good food stalls, including a churros van!
Telling: everyone to go eat pizza and drink wine at Four Winds Vineyard – it’s my favourite winery in the Canberra region.
Buying: Go-to products. I’ve so far tried the hand cream, the two lip balms and the face products and they are really good.
Adding: fresh fruit to my morning porridge. Means I can avoid adding honey or golden syrup to sweeten – so good!
Bookmarking: sourdough recipes, I found this focaccia recipe and it’s a winner!
Crying: no crying!
Watching: The Handmaid’s Tale.
Thinking: what TV series to watch next! We are currently also within “The Bates Motel” (prequel to Psycho), but we’ve been wanting to start on Game of Thrones as well!
Dreaming: always dreaming of pizza! A new pizzeria has opened up in Canberra called Trecento.
Receiving: lots of cuddles from my baby tom tom!
Sending: a moon pig card to my mum for her birthday. Do you use moon pig? It’s a life saver for sending cards to people on the other side of the world!
Opening: of a new Canberra restaurant called First Edition. Gin cocktails, yum yum!
Spending: time with friends and family to celebrate several birthdays!
Helping: recipe test for some soon-to-be-released cookbooks!
Rising: bread – at least once a week!
Missing: one of my best friends who lives in Lakes Entrance. I have made many promises to go and visit but never got around to doing it.
Liking: the signs of spring around Canberra. Not long until the warmer weather!
Escaping: Canberra for the coast, and we had the most perfect weather!
Knowing: that I’ve got lots of exciting collaborations coming up!
Seeing: Canberra from Telstra Tower. It’s a beautiful view!
Loving: the tile situation at Rick Stein’s at Bannisters by the Sea.
Reading: lots of books lately! Most recently ‘The Dinner’ by Herman Koch. The movie is coming out soon. Have you rad it?
Celebrating: the arrival of my parents to Australia for three weeks!
